Creative Resumes are very popular among job seekers and when it comes to job hunting, the first thing which comes to our mind is a resume. And when we think of creating a resume, we mostly think of something that is clean and contains every bit of information to impress the employers.
But now time has changed, if you want to stand out and grab the attention of a employer, you need to be creative in every aspect. This is specially in the case of designers where design agencies are usually bombarded with hundreds of applications.
So, the resume is the biggest opportunity for them to show their creativeness in the first glance. There are some applicants out there who wants to set themselves apart from the crowd and dare enough to try something unique.
In this post, I am showcasing the creative resumes of such individuals who tried to apply creativity with their resumes and so far did it amazingly. Some of these resumes are actually used by the people while giving an interview and some of them are only concepts.
Finally, here’s a collection of 72 awesome creative resume from people working in various creative fields.

I am sure that these resumes certainly inspired you to think out of the box when designing your own resume. But remember that these resumes are not suitable for every kind of job. You have to look at your industry and design the resume according to it.

I love creative CV’s. Not only does it put a smile on the face of the person reading it but in a competitive market it can say a lot more about you then you can ever hope to get across in words alone.
I’ve been teaching people to write good CV’s for some time, but even I can learn something from this great collecion. Good stuff.

Hi Felix,
I’ve read a lots of resumes and have hired lots of people. IMHO – 34 pages? Way too much! Concise, clear communications will garner more attention. Like you’ve seen here, keep key points to one page and make the rest optional drill downs.
Best Wishes, John

Pretty good collection, I especially like the graphic pie charts and similar 3D elements that really pop off the pages. Looking to give my CV an overall now, especially in this job market!! shield your eyes from all this misery!

This is a great article! I like the fact that there are a couple of Filipinos in the list. These are the kinds of resumes that makes HR fun. Just imagine reading through all those boring resumes everyday. Haha, that includes mine
I have no plans now to pass my resume, but reading through this makes me want to start conceptualizing what next resume will be.

nice collection! a question for you working in HR and reading a lot of CVs, what do you want?? short, concise, “boring”, but hopefully easy to read or something more artistic like the ones above?
Thanks!

First I would like to say, thank you Yogesh! I’m very flattered to be added to a list with some other great concepts (some of which I recognize and that inspired me to create my own).
Second, I would like to respond to two negative comments I’ve seen. To tell you the truth, I haven’t actually used the resume highlighted by this article very much, it’s a very industry specific format and would not be suitable for many of the clients and employers I have worked with/for over the years. Generally my resume is in a much more conventional (yet still stylish and awesome) format. As to the comment about all of the highlighted designers being unemployed? I can’t speak for the rest of the designers but I know that I’m quite comfortable with my current level of employment, but an up-to-date resume is always handy when you’re looking for a fun, little Saturday-morning freelance job.
And to everyone that looked at and enjoyed my resume, thank you!

all these resumes are creative ……….. i’ll give u that ……. but at some point the employer might feel that u got a lil carried away….. and that might harm ur chances of getting in…………
